Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all individuals registering to attend JConf Dominicana 2026 (hereinafter referred to as "the conference"). The conference is organized by the Dominican Republic Java User Group (DOMINICANA JUG, INC), with the following legal details: RNC: No. 4-30-37120-3, Certification Number: No. 00023/2023 and Ticket: No. 3784328. Hereinafter, the organization and its executive committee shall be referred to as "the organizers".


1. Registration and Tickets

  • Registration Process: Attendees must complete the registration form on the official platform: https://tickets.jconfdominicana.org, accepting the terms and following the instructions to finalize payment.
  • Confirmation: Upon receipt of registration, a confirmation email and invoice will be sent. Once full payment is verified, a final payment confirmation will be issued.
  • Payment Methods:
    • Bank Transfer: in Dominican Pesos (DOP) to the account specified by the organizers.
    • PayPal: in US Dollars (USD). Attendees assume any commission fees incurred through this method.
  • Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, if an attendee cannot attend, they may transfer their ticket to another person at no additional cost, provided the original payment has been completed in full.
  • Ticket Usage: Tickets are for personal or business use only and may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes. Any attempt to resell tickets will result in immediate cancellation of the ticket(s) by the organizers.
  • Maximum Capacity: If the attendee capacity is reached, the organizers reserve the right to refuse additional registrations.

2. Fiscal Invoice Requests

If you require a fiscal invoice, please request it via email at info@jconfdominicana.org before purchasing your ticket. We are an authorized electronic issuer.


3. Discount Policy

All discounts apply only to tickets purchased and paid for within the specified discount period. Invoices with payment dates after the event will not qualify for discounts.


4. Conference Cancellation or Postponement

In the event that the Conference cannot be held or is postponed due to force majeure (events beyond the organizers' control) or circumstances not attributable to gross negligence or willful misconduct by the organizers, the organizers shall not be liable for:

  • Transportation costs, accommodation expenses, additional orders, or financial losses incurred by attendees.

Under these circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to:

  • Retain the full registration fee and credit it toward a future edition of the Conference, or
  • Refund the attendee, deducting any non-recoverable costs already incurred for the event organization.

5. Program Modifications

The organizers reserve the right to modify the program at any time. No refunds will be issued for:

  • Speaker cancellations.
  • Lack of space in conference rooms.
  • Any other incidents beyond the organizers' control.
